If a car is running excessively rich...will it cause Carbon build up in an engine that my lead to a shot apex seal?? I thought it was good to run rich. Well, I guess it's good under boost....but maybe not so when doing normal city driving?? I remember reading if you drive your car like a wus...staying uder 4k rpms that it may lead to excessive carbon build up. Since reading that....I normally wind out the revs to 6k rpms. keeping off the boost during normal city driving. What do you guys think about that?? Is that not necessesary or what?? I'd rather burn up my gas than collect excessive amt. of carbon build up.
