Newbie Please Help

Hi Everybody i have just bought my 1st rx7 and do not know anything about them execpt they are really fun to drive i am having a problem finding out the model type and year of my 7 because the dealer i got it from said it's a 99 and when i checked on this website http://www.j-garage.com/mazda/rx-7/fd3s.htm i read that my car is a 2001 model because of the extra's it has on it is there any way i can clear this and sort it out the extras i have are

Front Fog Lamps
Nardi Steering Wheel
Boost Gauge Insted Of Oil Gauge
17" Alloys
Coilovers

If you guys could shed light on to my problem i would really appreciate it

im not sure wear but your vin number on the car could tell you if you know how to read it... i forgot where i saw it but it explained how to read it

open the drivers side door and look at the gap that the door covers to the right...it should say all model info there.

It's entirely possible that your car had the updated parts installed later. But yes the VIN and door sticker is the way to know.

10th digit is the year...so id start with that
