New (used) RX-7 owner here!
Hey guys, I took the plunge last night and dropped the cash on a 1994 in excellent condition. The motor only had 3000 miles on it and the turbos were new too... I have dreamed of driving one of these for about 8 years... F I N A L L Y!

Mods? Yeah, a few:
White 1994 Touring:
PFS Streetport motor
PFS Intercooler
PFS Cold Air Intake
PFS DP, MP, Catback Exhaust
PFS PMS
PFS Sway bars, front/rear
Cusco Strut Tower Bars
Koni Adjustable Struts
PFS High Performance Clutch
PFS Lightened Flywheel
Everything looks really tip top in the car. I am really happy with the way it turned out.

Ugh...fun isn't the word. It's an F'n rocket. Of course, all of you know this. I just wanna get rid of the silly bose system because it takes up the little trunk space I have...

Thanks man, I definitely will. I have a little cash left over and I'm considering some wheels... But that's a big chunk in a short time.
Any recomendations on a solid looking set of 17's for a reasonable price?

ok i know i'm the new guy but i've been workin in a tire shop for the better part of the last few years so i have seen alot of things come and go AND stay.
both the above mentioned brands are very nice. i would also add BBS to those. i had planned on using the kosei K1 rims. i like the kosei's. they're not the lightest but are still very light weight and the price is far below other companies offering similar products. the only down side to it is that you don't have much say in what style or look you go with.
i prefer wider over taller. i would look for the widest 16's (kosei 16x8.5 is the widest 16 i've found) before stepping up in diameter. if you do try to find some 17*9's or *10's. any thinner a sidewall won'y be a drastic improvement in handling and in the case of drag racing thinner sidewalls hurt performance because they don't flex.
as for tires i like michelin in general. pilot sport A/S's are butter. i have some other fav's but if you want to get an idea of what's good check the survey results from tirerack.com. i agree with them for the most part (i hate kumho sorry)

Thanks guys...I appreciate the help. I am going to look into this a little more and decide where my money is best spent. Lotsa people on the forums have fairly economical wheels that aren't made of lead...I'll find something.
