New turbos and removed the sequential system

I had an issue with my front turbo and had to replace them. Since I was doing that job I went and converted it to non-sequential and removed the ratsnest and unnecessary sensors.

When i fired her back the idle was supper low and it was running rough. I checked the TPS and got the numbers within spec. I raised the idle a bit, but the car at around 900rpms is running really rough.

Is there anything I can check or adjust to make the idle smoother? It does not bounce but i sounds like there is a slight miss fire.

Thanks in advance,

Can you list the sensors you removed?
I wouldnt suspect the TPS going bad- the coincidental chances of you removing a bunch of stuff is more likely to have affected it. Chances the TPS has gone bad while you were changing turbos is very very slim.

i followed the rotary resurrection non sequential guide. Basically every sensor not needed to run the car and everything that had to do with the rats nest. I raised the idle and the car has a steady idle at 900, but if it is idling and I rev it it stutters until it passes 2k rpms. This may be related to my tune.

I also had an issue with my AST not keeping a good seal on the car and when the car reached operating temperature it started to release the pressure to the over flow tank. I got my buddies AST and I just have to buy a 16PSI car for it since the opening is much smaller than my AST.

As soon as I get the cooling system under control i will report back :-)

dont quite understand - does it leak out of the AST, or does it push coolant out of the overflow tank?

Well long story short. When i bought my AST from a member on here the lovely shopping company banged the box and the rim that is used to seal the rubber on the cap. I straightened it when i go it. When i went non sequential I drained the system and removed the cap. Over time the pressure from the cap bent the rim back and it was not sealing. I pulled it out today and it seemed to hold pressure fine today.
