Unhappy New transmission

I went to the track today and I think I fauxed my transmission. From what ive read here, I think its the pilot bearing. When I release the clutch in neutral it makes a funny noise, I dont know how to describe it. Are there any good aftermarket transmissions for the FD? I might just send it to pineapple. Thanks in advance.

Bearings can make that noise, and if it's your pilot bearing, you should be happy.......doesn't mean you need a new tranny. It can easily be swapped out when you get a new clutch. I had similar symptoms, replaced both the pilot and throwout bearings and the noise went away.

Also, before jumping to any conclusions, it's worth making sure your tranny fluid is full, as that can cause some weird noises, too.
