New Single Turbo build

Hello everyone,
I recently joined the Forum and wanted to share some thoughts. My compliments to everyone that contributed to the FAQ’s/sticky’s, a lot of valuable, interesting, tried and true information here (Part of the reason it took me so long to join was reading and searching the board) LOL! It seems like there are some very knowledgeable people here.

A little about me, I’m a new Import car owner/new RX/FD owner. Six months ago I purchased a low mileage VR/R1 that I’m going to convert to single turbo. I plan on pulling the motor, having a streetport and supporting engine modifications to achieve my HP goals. The car will be a streetcar/trackcar. I’ll be starting that project soon I just need to decide on a few things. I’m looking forward to the project, it should be fun but I know I have a lot of work ahead of me.
Regards,

A word: do it right the first time. I've spent the past couple of years fixing a previous owners cheap-ness. Go slow, spend the money, and learn the vehicle.

Couldn't have said it better.... A good build plan goes a long way. You will change your mind a few times, & going backwards always costs money. Research is the key. Decide what you truly want from the car, and go from there.

Welcome, & enjoy that FD

I plan on spending the money to do it right the first time, so I can spend my time enjoying the car. Coming up with a plan as we speak.
