New rotary synthetic oil in US

Was at M'Trix trading my paycheck for parts and overheard the sales guy but I didn't get a free t-shirt. Ari and someone else will be using it but I don't know if Mazdatrix will distribute it or not.

Did he say whether it's made FOR snakes, or made OUT OF snakes?

I'm kidding

Did you happen to hear the salesman's spiel? Anything beyond what's apparent on the website?

Sounds interesting...

I imagine its not. Heaven knows why an oil producer, attempting to specialize in rotary engine oil would design an oil to actually work with a rotary engine.

Likely so. The 10W30 would use the omp for sure. If the noted high temp shear capacity for the 10w30 means it passes the ACEA-3 rating, then that is promising. The moly is to plate out on sliding surfaces, which helps when hydro-dynamic films are not happening, like at the apex seals. What the moly does (if it passes through filter):

I only heard part of it. SOmething about it's ok for the corner seals and that Ari and some other drag racer will be using it. The owner was asking if they would sponser his cars. They went to talk business. I handed over my paycheck and a pint of blood and then left with my parts. I never got one of the cool t-shirts though.
