New at the rotary........ need help

OK so i bought a 93 fd about a month ago and have been working on it alot latly trying to figure out what is wrong with alot of it........ well to start my problems is the fact that when i got the car i realized that all of the vacume lines were brittle and broke extremly easy....... and at the same time the turbo's were leaking oil out of the compressor side all throughout the intake all through the intercooler and to the intake manifold. Not only that it is idle hunting and idles around 1500. I have recently replaced the turbos with the trinity turbos.... so the oil leak problem is fixed..... but all of the others still remain. I replaced alot of the vacume lines that i could get to with only taking off the upper intake but the idle problem still there. It "pops" at idle like it has a milde backfire of some sort......... this problem is really kicking my butt. I just want some ideas so that i can learn and get an idea of what i can do to fix all of this. I do beleive that before i got it the car it did run extremly hot due to all of the lines and turbo seal being bad i think that the heat had alot to do witht that. But if anyone has any ideas let me know..... i am new at all of the rotary thing. I am 20 and i know alot about "normal" engines but this is all new to me. Thanks for any kind of input that anyone has i know it will help

First off, any broken or unplugged vaccuum lines will most likely cause a leak and therefore cause the idle to hunt.
If your motor overheated then you might aswell start saving up for a new motor.

do a pressure test to find out where the air leak(s) are, then do a compression check on your motor to see if it's still ok, then onto troubleshooting other things

Well the compression on each rotor face was good and i am about to go and do a boost leak cheack just waiting on the tools that are on there way here..... i know that the overheating incident that happened did not help the motor so i am saving for that motor already.... but while this one is still working i am gunna go with what i got. But is there any other things that you would recomend looking into???
