Here's a link on someone installing them:
http://www.negative-camber.org/crispyrx7/sideskirts.htm

I just picked a set from Shine Auto Project (thanks, Ken!). At 8 lbs total for both CF sides (4lbs each)...it's hardly accountable for heavy weight...for someone to really care that amount of weight reduction, they would be stripping the car down a lot to bare essentials, no PS seat, panels, etc

If you guys are that concerend about weight some of you should ditch the 200lbs of sound system crapola you have loaded into your cars, or those pimpin 19" dubs you have and go back to the stock 16's and stop sweatin "8lbs" of CF.

My website BTW

My shipping carton said 8 lbs on FedEX label but it's of course better if it is lighter (1 lb for box/packaging I guess)....anyhow, we should stop the discussion on weight. This thread is about mounting/installation options.

Did you read my webpage? I could stand on my sideskirts without them coming off.

I still like them. I don't have any of that crapola sound, as a matter of fact, I am probably going to ditch the bose later on. But I have already replaced the double decker with 1/2 the weight stereo...
No rims like that either, I am going very likely with CE28N 17x8.5/9, less than 94 stockers in weight.

Please keep the info coming on the mounting, like I said, I'd like them on my car...

I can't believe you guys are fussing over an extra 8lbs of sprung weight. Jesus!

For most of you, a trip to your local colonic dude will shed way over that amount in weight.

dunno about the rest of you but a enema and 24h buffer w/o eating and 6hrs w/o fluid is a must before i drive the fd.

no really though sides are such a pain on lowered fds i already scrape on everything without having to deal with brittle fiberglass parts hanging down the side of the car

About that: my car hasn't been lowered (AFAIK and ASAICT), but I was looking at the bottom and the rear of the bellypan (I'm assuming where it covers the front subframe) is incredibly low to the ground. I don't think it's any farther from it than 4"...
So, my wondering is, if I were to drop my baby even 1", that spot would be 3" from disaster? Would I still clear speed bumps?
And would these skirts hang lower than that particular spot?
Thanks guys...
