all you need now with those rims is a cool graphics package... you know, lots of vinyl. seriously, you wasted your money. why would you buy stock sized rims? you know what kinda mods you could have gotten for that money?

Come on man, be serious, is your ego that fragile?? You put this post on here to get feedback, I'm sorry that not everyone can give you what YOU want to hear but your getting some honest reactions. Would you rather we just lie to you? Most responses aren't even that rough.

on the second pic with the whole car, they don't look bad at all.

it does suck the Discount Tire wouldn't give you your deposit back. Why did you put so much down, if you don't mind me asking? I just did a special order with them and they only required 10%, which was $200 and some change.

don't let the guys on this forum get to you, not everyone can afford $3000 in wheels and tires. actually if i had to guess, even some of the people that knocked your choice can't afford to buy rims that are accepted by the forum. if people don't see Volk or SSR on your wheels they don't think they are worthy of an FD.

Now the truth is that the stock rims are good light wheels, which may explain some of the flak you are getting..

Anyone know how much those Koenigs weigh?

PS this isn't half as brutal as it would be in the Suspension forum

Well ******* if you bothered to read the whole thread you would know that he bought stock size rims so he could use his stock rubber, he said he doesn't have alot of money, but you were in too much of a rush to get your stab in to do this.

i don't understand why he bought new rims that were the same size... maybe i missed something, but what was the point in replacing the rims? maybe i didn't read well enough... i looked over it again. i just don't see the point. it seems like a waste of money to me LIKE I SAID to buy heavier rims just for looks. he could have gotten a set of stock replacement rims on here for probably about half of what he paid for those. not my car, i don't care. to each his own.

it came across like more of an *** than i thought i did when i posted it, but i was just trying to make a point. there's no point in wasting money on buying something that is WORSE than what was stock.

"Yet another 18 year old with an FD who has no business owning one."

17, and its not the age, its how you drive, and for me who has never gotten into any wrecks or gotten any tickets"....

And considering i payed for the entire car with MY own money i think i deserve to own this car as much as some 50 year old *** hole who has a hell of a lot more money than me. Not every 17-18yr driver is bad, that sterotype is retarded.

The exhaust is the Apexi Gt Spec system.

good point mrrx, i think clayne was just basing his opinion on the majority of "kids" who buys an fd..

most of the time you will find some kids that buy an fd.. 1) cause it looks good and it was that stupid *** movie, fast and furious or 2) cause mommy and daddy have alot of money

3. You have less than 2 years of driving experience under your belt, mrrx.

4. Do you pay your OWN rent at the age of 17?

5. Pay your OWN insurance and are not on your parent's policy?

That's what I thought.

You, much like many other sub-20s who have picked one of these cars up, will wreck it just the same. You've already put *worse* wheels on the car which degrades it's performance and safety. It's ******* obvious you have no clue.

5....

Lets say this slowly...

I have had F-F-F-I-I-I-V-V-V-E-E-E chances to buy wheels. Why didn't I? For the same reason on this thread LOL.

I'm sorry, but those are Fugly. Not only are they Fugly, but an incredible waste of time AND money considering they are the same size as the stock wheels and there is a 95% chance they weigh more than 10lbs than the stockers.

My (and most of us) advice, you should have saved the money for a better set of wheels.

You allready got the wheels, SO, here's our new advice.
Sell them, and save the money for a better set of wheels

Some of you guys are not very nice. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if MrRx likes his new wheels, than thats what counts. We are all entitled to our own opinions, but some of you could have been a little nicer by not saying anything.
Do what you like and can afford MrRx, thats what counts.
