New rims

Hey everone got some new rims to show

There made by Konig

black99 04-11-04 04:42 PM

One question. Why?

fastcarfreak 04-11-04 04:45 PM

those are some cheap ass rims, the stock rims look better and weight so much less. Its your car though, so it dont matter what we think.

fastcarfreak 04-11-04 04:46 PM

another thing, How wide are they? my guess is not as wide as the stock rims. Traction is prolly gonna be a problem with anything more than stock power. Also, your acceleration and cornering is gonna decrease in performance.

mad_7tist 04-11-04 04:51 PM

few people pick up rims for performace. that said those are ugly it doesn't look like a fd maybe a escort or something. sorry but it is what it is. did they come with a toster or something?

MrRx 04-11-04 04:57 PM

they are exactly the same size as the stock rims, 16.....and unlike everyone else on the forum i dont have tons of money to spend on rims

If you like it I guess. With that said, it would be more respectable to have stock rims.

NukeGenius 04-11-04 05:02 PM

he meant the width of the rims. Are they 8" wide? ALso, I dont really like them much, but to each his own.

MrRx 04-11-04 05:09 PM

They fit my stock tires so im there the stock width, these are not the rims i wanted but the bastards at "rage" stoped making the rims i wanted, and discount tire wouldent refund my $500 deposit

Same as stock? Then you should have saved your money. Sounds like a waste of cash IMO.

MakoRacing 04-11-04 05:46 PM

SNracing 04-11-04 06:18 PM

they are ok, why didnt you just wait and save more cash until you could get nicer ones?

AMRAAM4 04-11-04 06:24 PM

MrRx 04-11-04 06:28 PM

Heres a shot of my new custom plates

BoOsTin FD 04-11-04 06:52 PM

What were your other 2 choices??

Juan 04-11-04 07:09 PM

The wheels look crappy in that close-up shot but look good once the whole car is displayed. Who cares what these guys say about them . You seem happy with them so thats cool. Atleast your car doesnt have typeR stickers and giant metal wing(s). Clean looking car BTW.

MrRx 04-11-04 07:45 PM

clean thanks to all the rain, my other two choise were Rx7man, ATS-RX7

wReX 04-11-04 08:18 PM

I had those same rims on my R/T Stealth. They were pretty decent and cheap. They look good on your RX, but I have to agree and say that 17's would make a world of difference.
