To new pulley? Or to not? (Water pump)
Hello! First, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday!
Now…. After looking on the forum for some time I know there’s some that do and some that don’t replace the water pump pulley. I recently imported this vehicle and am now doing the usual maintenance. Also upgrades that weren’t previously done… surprisingly. (Now upgrading rad,ast etc.)
I went to purchase some bando belts and noticed one was too long. Looking into it, the air pump was deleted. Then looking into it further there’s the debate of replacing the pulley or not.
if it doesn’t matter, then what would be the size of the belt on stock (bando). That was something I couldn’t find due to there being vague answers.

Not sure what the question is but if I understand correctly..... the answer is there is no stock non air pump belt. The pulley you have there is an aftermarket pulley. Not all of them are the same size so what belt works for one pulley won't necessarily work on yours. You already have a belt on there so just measure it and get a belt that's the same size or SLIGHTLY smaller

There is no air pump pulley. Unless you intend to reinstall one there won’t be sufficient belt contact on the water pump even with that oversized aftermarket pulley you have now. Eventually it seems two things happen…the belt begins to slip so you tighten it more. Eventually it gets way too tight which isn’t good for your water pump or bearing…and it’s probably still slipping.
You need that air pump or an idler pulley to replace it.
What I would suggest…
Banzai Racing sells the FFE idler pulley and, IIRC, properly sized belts depending on your particular combination of pulleys…
Pulleys & Belts (93+ RX-7)
scroll down to the FFE pulley for more info. I really recommend you not go cheap here.
