new plugs-now falls on face

Ok my car sat for a monthe and got flooded. so i de-flood and put new plugs in
now if i give it more that half throttle it falls on its face but if i only give it a little it runs fine . when i firsw got it started the b.ov. was blowing air constantly real hard, after i drove it for a few min. it blows constant but with less pressure.
i put like 5 buks of new cas in it, and it only had like 1 dollar to begin with.

so what could be the problem?
im almost 100% sure i put all the wiers in the correct place( but would that cause it to do that? run perfect under 3k then bogg after that?or could it be someting else)

any sort of help would be appreciated so thanks in advance

and right before i out more gas in it i pushed the accelorator down to the floor and it started to go then bogged and backfired really bad twice .. like POP..POP

i know i got the trailoing wiers correct but its a slight possibility that L2 wire is on L1 plug
but i really doubt it so what else could it be. or is that the only possibility?

also if the leadings where mixed up would it run perfect untill 3k rpm?

also why is my b.o.v constantly blowing? i mean it let up alot but it still was blowing

disconnect the battery for 15 seconds.

and your BOV is stuck open, if it is a cheapo BOV then ditch it, if it is a name brand unit then disassemble and clean it.

that is normal operation then i believe, i never needed to test a stock BOV before since they rarely go bad. most recirculating stock BOVs will vent with light vacuum and close under a load.

oh ok thanks , but as for the stalling? what do you think it is?
do you think if the leading plug wires were mixed up that it would run perfect untill 2.5k or if i push the throttledownt a goodways?

as for the battery it was dead before i started it so what good would disconecting it do?

plug wires in the wrong order could do it, double check em vs the tags on the coils.

i mentioned disconnecting the battery because it sounds like it is in limp mode.

if it has a hard code then you need to fix the problem, it won't just go away by disconnecting the battery and apparently is the case with your car or it has another problem such as the wires you mentioned possibly being crossed.

the method for pulling codes should be archived or linked in the FAQ as far as i know.

eyy up mate,,,just read this one,,,,im pretty damm sure your car is in limp mode. Try disconnect the battery for 20 seconds if this doesnt fix it then you need to pull the error codes off the ECU because you have a sensor or electrical error.

check this out brother..

Yes, battery disconnected, then step on the brake for 20 seconds.

And i think its either TPS related or wrong order on the spark plug related.

You should also think of how tight or loose you put the plugs in. That also could be a potential factor. Not to mention that maybe you "thought" you put the spark plug wires on but not all of them "clicked" on.

First of all, you need to know how to read codes before you go do it.

Its 10 for every long flash and 1 for every short one.

So if you had 5 longs and 1 short, thats a 51.

And 51 is the fuel pump relay.

Def sounds like another problem.

I would check TPS, map sensor etc etc.

Check the obvious first.
