Angry New Plugs = Less Boost???

WTF, I changed my plugs yesterday. Like alway. My idle smoothed out and everything went fine and dandy. I used 9's all around like I always use, except I used the cheaper copper plugs instead of the platnium.
I also noticed a hose attached next the rear trailing plug that was held onto the engine with a worm drive clamp. It was loose so I tightned it up and moved the hose all the way on. A few drops of liquid came out (small drops) and I then put it back on.
What the hell is that tube anyway?

Now today, my boost is down by pound at WOT. I run 10 most of the time and higher for racing, It now only goes up to 9 psi.
The boost also doesn't seem to come on as fast and stay as long when I'm on the gas either.

My boost in first doesn't want to go any higher then 7 or so.
The car use to pull like a bat out of hell now, its only fast. And doesn't seem to pull anywhere near as fast to redline, wtf??

I'm also backfiring like ****, I use to do this around 3,400 rpm under decel, now it happens around 3k rpm and happens more often and is loud as hell.

What the hell happened???

backfiring = rich, so the plugs might not be igniting all or enough ofthe fuel?

Hmm, going to have to check into it. It always back fired when I took off of the gas, but never had problems with boost or anything.
