new motor question

I'm in the consideration time of getting a new motor. I'm wondering where to get it done. I'm in south carolina. I don't mind taking it to Pettit but just wondering where you recomend. I don't know if I should get a reman or get a rebuilt. I'm also taking the consideration of getting a street port. I'm going to have the Power FC tuned at the same time. This is what I'm getting done, hose job, clutch and fly wheel combo, radiator, mid pipe, may be a FMIC (mine already has a mod. SMIC) and may be the fuel part as getting the 1600cc injector if is not a over kill. You think there will be $ left over for a single Turbo in a $10k budget?

Not if you are planning on the shop doing the R&R for the engine. If you get a reman, do the R&R yourself, you could probably throw a single kit and the rest of what you want to do for around $10k.
