Eight month ago i install a new motor in my FD and it still seating in the garage waiting for the EFR 8374 single turbo kit that i had order it had been close to 6 month now and still waiting for it. My question is will the motor be ok seating this long? I turn it every once in a while is there anything else that i should do? I haven't put any oil or coolant in the motor yet .

A little ATF in one of both the front and rear rotor spark-plug holes (a tablespoon each) to keep everything loose and lubed would be good. Then turn it a few times again to distribute it.

There is a thread around here someplace about storing your car and it talks about what to do for your engine. I cant remember the fluid that it recommended off the top of my head, but I followed it and had no problem storing the car for 4-5 months at a time. Started up first try when I finally got home.

Yep you will be fine. I helped a guy here locally with an engine that had been built then on an engine stand for 20 years. Started right up and had no problems.

Over time he just fogged it with WD-40 and turned it occasionally.

ATF will work but that's WAY overkill. WD-40 is probably a better bet. ATF smokes like crazy. You just want to keep things oily and not let things corrode.
