New JDM HKS V-Mount info
HKS R Type V-System Intercooler Kit RX7 '93-'95
The is the new R Type core which is used in the HKS D1 drift cars. While raising cooling efficiency, it decreases pressure loss and increases response. Furthermore, weight has also been lightened with this set up.
To lower water temperature, the radiator is angled horizontally while the intercooler is slanted. It is possible to direct the air flow to both units directly. This is accomplished by utilizing an air separator which splits the air between the intercooler and the radiator. Three separate gradual adjustments are possible to control flow.
An aluminum air duct directs the air flow directly through the cores. The intercooler piping is kept short to maximize response.
This kit includes a battery and air conditioner line relocation kit. The HKS Racing Suction Intake Kit is required for use on with the stock twin turbos.

^ nope! There is only "one" in the USA and it hasn't finished being test fitted yet. The info I posted is new.
Kit includes battery, A/C relocation and piping. The core is huge! The ducting can be adjusted to control air flow to either intercooler or radiator.

^ Super Autobacs quoted me $2,280.00 and i'm not sure what JT-Imports will be selling it for. It's not even on either US or Japan HKS websites yet ant It won't be available for a few more months. Unfortunately, the radiator is "not" included in the kit.

It fits good..but rem to this is for a 99 spec and up, meaning you will have "fitment" issues with 93 spec front bumper(according to some here)
Powersteering is retained but the cooling rail is removed. (Some deem this as a p/steering removal)
A/C relocation is for R12 so piping is differerent. Bigger diameter and connectors are different.
Will not have any other fitment issues related to steering columm and whatever left/right hand drive stuff.
Search for posted test on the track...
Yes..I am the "one" who has one...

No it's not Turbo'd
Uh, well with RE you retain everything... incl. Airpump if you want, not that the HKS doesn't look kickass... but I'd be skeptical to a completely horizontal Rad Setup... what are coolant temps like !?
I do like the Battery setup better, bigger battery = better.... but also blocks air from the engine... ???
I'm happy with mysetup, beats the **** out of stock, but then again what doesn't

water temps on the track never go pass 90 degreesC
and air temps are always in the 30s...
and it drops to the low 10s while cruising on the freeway..

People who live in a metropolis, where you can run into stop and go traffic on the way to the track
Of course Nocal doesn't know what traffic is..... or wait no you DO !!!
Besides I daily drive my track car (It's rough on the fillings)
