new IC pipes, now idles extremely lean
So i recently put new IC pipes and an intake on my 94' fd and when i went to go start it up it ran correctly at first then the idle AFR's dropped to LEAN AS **** lol
when i first started it up i was idling steady at 13.8-14.7 range but then it started climbing and now stays constant at the 17.9ish range. I havnt tried driving it yet to see how it runs under load/boost cause im slightly nervous. please get back to me fast, ive been searing on here and all i cant find is info telling me im running way to lean, which i knew haha

engine mods are: 3in downpipe, hi-flo cat, racing beat catback, new vacuum lines, and as of a few hours ago a custom 2.5" fmic and intakes.
other then those boltons its untuned bone stock.
but on a side note...the problem is fixed now. Im fairly certain it was a combination of my bov being set to too low, so it was opening at idle as well as the ecu relearning the new readings from the MAP.
cause my afrs are back to normal hovering between 13.8-14.8 at idle and between 10.5-11.3 at WOT @10psi

Not sure what went on there, but nothing you did would cause a change in AFR's. Even a loose BOV won't matter. You can remove all the IC pipes and the car will start and run just fine.
Also, the car most likely wouldn't idle or would run terrible at 17:1.
Now, if you have the airpump, that will mess up your idle/low load AFR numbers. The air pump injects air into the exhaust manifold, the wideband sees it and shows a fake lean number.

i didnt think about it being the airpump tho..i do have the airpump still on and i just put one of the bonez breather filters on the pipe cause i took out the airbox. ill bet thats what it was doing, since the car runs beautifully
