Talking New here, got a couple questions

Hello everybody, ive settled on picking up a 93-94 FD within the next couple months or whenever im able to sell my truck. now i plan on, or want to pick up a red one just because they look so clean in that color and it really defines the FD's shape/structure. now my questions are that i was looking for parts for something id add and i came across an Apexi' Ingognito exhuast, cat-back for non turbo motors. any experiance with these? its based on the world sport 2 muffler in an all matte black finish including piping as well. id also like to lower the car on a set of TEIN S. Tech springs, pretty simple. id like a clean 1.5+ drop. and now more deep questions, (if your still reading....thank you) ive seen a couple members with vented hoods. some do it their selfs and some buy them. id like a relatively cheap hood with one vent. i seen one i really liked on a yellow FD earlier today. and no im not going to rice it out, i perfer function over fashion, and i have a problem with motors over heating, and i think it deserves a little cool down lol. so if i could see some examples of that style hood, i already searched but still no luck. and now last question, whats a nice short ram intake for these cars, ive had no luck finding one. and if anybody has suggestions on what and what not to get id appreciate it. also, with a vented hood. will i have to worry about rain? it will be daily driven and it does rain alot here. Thanks In Advance!!!!

Why would you get an exhaust for a non-turbo car? These are twin turbo cars.

TEIN S Techs: LOVE mine!!!! 1" drop

Hood with one vent; can't think of too many

Some of the hoods will come with rain guards

ebay and other places for the hood like the 7 store(i think)etc. As far as you having problems with cars heating up,that CANNOT happen with the FD,and if youre gonna end up getting one anyway,I suggest you buy a HUGE temp gauge and put it right in front of your face while driving.I dont mean to sound like a jerk, but I think other people would put it in worse words,so just take mine.

BTW,have you met SNTP yet?Im sure you will in a few.... -=)

no i havent, and i dont mean it like, i drive cars untill they overheat. but i dont like cars to overheat. id rather invest in a nice cooling system i.e. new radiators, tranny/oil coolers, new thermostats etc.

No offense, but you're going to need to do more thorough research on these cars before buying one, otherwise you'll be wasting money needlessly.

If you take care of the basics (reading the FAQ stickie would be a start), you don't have to worry about overheating. They don't necessarily need "new radiators" or "new thermostats" if the stock ones are in good working condition. And they certainly don't need a "tranny cooler", unless you get an auto.
