I am new to this so bare with me. I just got a 93 FD with 24K on the clock. I want to do a few mods, but nothing major. I was thinking of a Pettit SS DP, some brand of intake ( any ideas?) and maybe something else. What are the performance gains that I can expect from a DP and intake? I won't need an ecu with these minor mods will I? Thanks for your help!

 

In the future you'll wanna use the 'search' function at the top right of the screen...you'll catch less flak from the rest of the guys...we get so many 'newbie' questions everday, it get kinda old....

As for your question, the downpipe is a good place to start, might wanna get a boost guage as well....as for the intake, modifying the stock box is probably the best bet for not wanting to do anything major, it will be more than fine...from these 2 mods you might see 15-20hp increase...
