Cool New Greddy FD V-Mount IC Kit

I read about this before, and figured someone already posted this the other week. After a little bit of searching and coming up with nothing.

Viola.

sources.
http://greddy-usa.blogspot.com/2010/...-for-fd3s.html
Greddyusa.com
etc.

Pricing hasn't been announced by greddy. But I saw pricing on Nengun Performance and a few other websites. Its a pretty penny...but its Greddy after all.

my other complaint is that they don't offer a kit with all ic piping if you already own the greddy intake. You have to buy the version with their new intake (just new filter design, same intake) Otherwise its a pretty flawless design.

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't look like it's up to the usual GReddy/Trust standards. I'm not sure if HKS still makes a V-Mount, but the HKS and Rotary Extreme looked like better quality kits to me.

Completely disagree. Rotary extreme has additional welds on the ic piping. Less additional welds and a cleaner look is better in my opinion.

Thats if you WANT to get picky. These pics also look like prototypes not the finished product. (which makes sense, since pricing hasn't been released to the USA). Regardless, its great that Greddy still has our cars in mind as they are busy developing products for the GT-R, 370Z, new Scion Tc, etc...

Its all about support.

It would be nicer if they didn't stop producing exhausts, especially the EVO.

Those end tanks are obviously one off's. It's a prototype in the photos.

FYI...
It's probably pricey because it includes the radiator and ducting for both the IC and Rad...

Surprised they are still designing stuff for our cars.. Pretty NICE...

That's gonna be an expensive setup. I'm surprised they are making that considering they have been discontinuing a lot of the RX7 stuff.

HKS sill makes their v-mount setup

That is fairly normal, and about a $1000 cheaper than the knight sports or re-amemiya setup. Just my .02 I think greddy/trust products are over-rated and the quality is mediocre.

aFePower Pro 5R filters on that intake. At least they're easy to source and a trusted design over that foam crap GReddy previously used.

It looks like a VERY complete kit for that cost though... that includes piping all the way from the up pipe on the efini y-pipe all the way to the throttle body. Looks like they've included nice bracketry and A/C integration too.

And, I like that the radiator is specially made, not a cobbled up koyo stock mount, and has a tapered end tank at the nose, etc. Looks a lot like what I designed at one point but never had built.

I'm sure someone in China will copy it and sell it for $199

After doing a little research it looks like it retails for $3873 which means shops will probably sell it for around $3300.
