New fuel system, experienced opinions please???

Ok so here's the deal, I am so F*cking tired of having to boost under 10lbs so a fuel upgrade is desparately needed as you all know. I would really like to know some opinions on what I should get. Here is what I have thought of so far...

PFC /w commander & Datalogit (I might spring for the wideband o2 as well)
Nippon Denso or RP racing fuel pump
2 X 850cc prim
2 X1300/1600cc sec
Fuel Rail

So other than that what? Fuel lines? pressure regulator? To be honest I REALLY DON'T wanna spend more than $2,000 right now.

Fuel pressure regulator would be on my list Relocate the fuel filter so you will change often .( small amount of money ) .Bigger fuel lines are not needed untill high power is developed .

It really depends on how much boost you want to run.

My friend just wideband road tested his FD with an m2 airbox, dp, GT catback, highflow cat and PFC. At .8kg/cm2 his AFR was in the 11s. At .9 it was even more rich. He have have a fuel pump, I don't remember off hand.

if youre gonna stick the 850s in the primary slot, then just get 1600s. no point in BUYING 850s and UPGRADING them to 1300s. youll be able to boost more later on anyways with the 1600s.

if you are planning on running some high numbers then you might as well upgrade the fuel lines as well. its worth it in the long run. nobody likes doing things twice. haha. . . at least i dont. it all depends on what you want to do with your car.

this all sounds like overkill to me. If you have the stock twins you're limited to around 370 rwhp.

use the fuel calculator on maxcooper's site (maxcooper.com). As you will see you can get to 370 without drastic changes. I know people putting down over 400rwhp with the stock fuel lines.

you probally don't need a fuel pressure reg. A lot of people use the stock one. 2,000 for a fuel system is overkill anyway. I spent around 1K for mine, and it works great. Mine is even over kill. The highest duty cycle I've seen so far is only 60 percent.

Ok a couple things...
1) What kinda kit is available to relocate the fuel filter if any?
2) My mods are avc-r, intake, midpipe. I am gutting the exhaust pretty soon, any thoughts on just ripping the muffler off? It seems like nobody has done it that I have seen.
3) Here is what I know about my car, I turn the boost up to around 14 psi and it accelerates like I am at least a gear higher than I really am, sometimes 2. Granted that I am trying to blow the motor, I still would like to be able to boost more than 14. FD's can do 400 rwhp with the stock twins, but it takes some work. I want to know what I need to boost safely 14-16PSI.
4) So today I have learned I NEED the pfc, commander, datalogit, fuel pump, rail, 2X850cc Pr, 2X1600cc Se, and I WANT upgraded fuel lines, o2 sensor, and the regulator? What are the disadvantages of using the stock regulator if it will suffice?

Believe it or not the things I need add up to more than 2G's

I'd be happy with 350-380RWHP for awhile, I plan on upgrading to either BNR stage 3's or a T-78 next year, I am still debating whether or not to go single(I started a forum on it that's pretty interesting to read through). I'd like to have the fuel system taken care of all at once if I can, I don't want to leave a job halfway done and have to come back to it. So even though I might only be able to run 16PSI, I want anything that I modify on my car to be able to handle at least 18-20PSI. I really don't see the point in buying parts for 16PSI now, going through the BS of trying to sell them, then buying parts for 20PSI and having the bitch of a time to install everything all over again. I am sure some people can understand the logic here.
