New Fuel Rails and Injectors - too much fuel drain?

So I installed FFE Fuel Rails and ID 1000/2000 Injectors in my FD.
Re-used the Aeromotive FPR.
Initial maps for the injectors have been loaded into the PowerFC
(Thanks for the maps Ihor )

Yesterday I buttoned everything up and tried to start the car.
A couple of pops, and that was about it.

Got out and checked the FPR.

Hmm... 0 PSI

A couple weeks ago I had primed the system to check for leaks and it appeared fine.

So now I primed it again and see the fuel pressure get to to normal, pull the jumper, and now I can start the car.

This morning I was taking the car for an inspection, and again it cranked a lot without starting.

This time I didn't prime it, but did have to crank it quite awhile to get fuel pressure before it would start.

It seems that most all of the fuel is draining out of the rails, requiring quite awhile to re-prime the system when starting.

Is this an issue anyone else has observed?

I did search, but didn't find anything relevant.

The Parker O-ring handbook recommends no less than a 0.2mm (diameter) interference fit between O-rings and bores. Not familiar with your aftermarket components, but it might be worth checking.

Also, the larger the injectors, the shorter the ECU's injector pulses need to be at low and medium rpm. I read somewhere that the pulses should not have to go below 5-10% of the maximum pulse widths for good low-speed running.

(Just thoughts - no expert here.)

With the aeromotive fpr it's normal for the fuel to drain out of the rails because there is no check valve.

However, I have the same setup and I've watched the fuel pressure rise from when I switch the pump on and pressure builds very quickly (< a second probably). This is with a single 340 pump too.

It sounds like you either have a leak, a big restriction (filter?) or possibly even an injector leak, although not likely the injector leak cause then you'd have some flooding problems.

It shouldn't take long at all for the fuel lines and rails to prime

What fuel pump are you running and is it rewired? My Aeromotive FPR and Stealth 340LPH setup does the same thing, pressure drop to ~10psi shortly after shut off and will eventually hit 0. PowerFC do prime the system for a split sec when I turn the key to ON right before I start it tho, so the system is already pressurized before cranking.

Fuel pump in tank is Supra.

The external Radium surge tank has an Aeromotive Fuel Pump, the 340 model if I recall correctly,
and it has its own wiring.
