BC how much stuff should i get buy before i get my car dyno tuned?

current mods:
streetport
single turbo conversion (turbo is from a tII fc) with custom downpipe

I just bought an apexi power FC, primarily because i got bad 3krpm shudder.

what should i buy before I take the car to the tuner? catless midpipe? catback? intake? boost control?

I really just want reliability and drivability out of this car.

...maybe a few extra hp.

All The mods you mention are a good idea as well as a supra Tt fuel pump and some injectors.

Why did you go with a small turbo from a TII? Seems like more of a downgrade from the stock twins.

He probably got the stuff dirt cheap.
But I agree, you'll probably make more power on stock twins and have much more fun.

What you should buy is all dependent on how much you want to spend.
I personally wouldn't even bother putting that turbo on if you currently have operating stock twins.

If you want a cheap single setup, I would suggest going through classifieds on here, kijiji, and theres also a rotary specific forum for your province called bcrotary.com which might have some stuff in the classifieds.

You will need:
-Turbo + manifold + downpipe + oil feed/return (usually come in a kit) Get an older generation turbo like a gt35 to save some bucks and have a proven piece that you don't need to be a test dummy for
-wastegate (find a used one locally for cheap, just don't get a knock off part and make sure its in good operating condition since this is a big time reliability piece.
-Block off plates (banzai racing has a nice reasonably priced set)
-some type of upgraded intercooler, knock off greddy front mounts are pretty cheap and seem to do the job
-secondary injector + fuel rail. Full function engineering makes a good rail at a good price. Go to ebay and get bosch ev-14s, 2000cc is a common size and would be more than enough. no need to dump money on injector dynamics, they are the same thing as these but the company flow matches them, puts their logo on them, and bumps the price up like 400%

For the pump i would recommend the aeromotive 340 stealth. Its a good pump and both easier and cheaper than the supra pump to get

obviously you'd need the exhaust, probably some type of blow off valve (some people run it without though) a boost controller would be nice. Find a used one for a reasonable price, youre set for the ecu, last thing would be some type of water injection. Of course its not a necessity but its definitely a nice thing to have. Wannaspeed makes a nice pre-turbo kit, otherwise there are plenty of electrically powered pump systems that can be set up however you want.

This is just the bare minimum for a decent single setup but feel free to splurge.

Remember - if you buy cheap parts, you will end up replacing them with good one's at some point anyways. It's better to buy a quality used piece than a shiny new shitty piece.

All you need is the tune now that you have the Power FC.

If the TII stock turbo has a larger compressor wheel put in it you should put in the Supra fuel pump and larger injectors so you can tune it safely for if you get boost creep.

If it is still stock compressor wheel in the TII stock turbo the stock FD fuel system can handle everything the turbo can throw at it.
