Well interior is said to be nice but what should I look for in the engine? Should I look at it as if it were any other car? I've never seen or touched a rotary before let alone a turbo.. lol
Welcome to the club and good luck with finding a good FD. First off, if you dont know too much about rotary's, read through out this site and it'll teach you the basics of how a rotary engine works.

Also, before buying an RX7, read over this thread and it'll help you learn basic ins and outs of these cars, like what problems an FD could have, how to fix them, places to buy parts cheap, etc.

There are a few threads in there on what you should do and look for when buying an RX7. It'll help out alot. Also, when you have a problem or just need help with something, always search for an answer as most problems have already been discussed in other threads. Trust me, it'll save you from being flamed by our sometimes unfriendly forum regulars.
Good luck with your future money pit.

u might pay the lemon busters to look at it. but just overview, the bottom driver side of the car, make sure there are not excessive oil leaks, probably means u will need new turbos. idle should be steady. check for smoke at start up. rx7 should not smoke when being driven, but a small buff on a cold start is normal.
A guy in New Orleans RX7 club is selling a 94 VR in GREAT shape! New Mazda built engine just installed.
He is asking 10k. I know for sure it has boost and H20 temp gauges on a-pillar and a M2 Intake.
