new to forum need builder for cars vegas

hello

i am new to this forum . for the most part, i joined a while ago but just now have time , and controll of my work , so i can play with my toys ,
i have a 93 R1 34000miles it is very nice , but it is sad and needs some love ,
tune up and such , i want it stock , i want to keep it always , i want to drive it some , auto cross it a couple times , so i want it to be the best example of the car it can be , it is un touched . never been worked on and no updates , i have the mazda north american servic report and it is all but blank, so it may need updates to be a good driver . right ? i need a shop for such a car , i would trailer it to so cal for service if i had to .

i did this for an 87 turbo II i bought for $1800, i left it in LA for a week thinking the shop i chose was likley one of the best, i could get to, (reasonably close) .after $2500
swapped in my trans , new clutch , injector service , cat back exhaust and asked for a good tune up and opinnion of the car. i had put in new 10mm wires NGK plugs and a K&N air filter on it at home and it ran ok but i thought like my R1 it has more potental in the hands of a real tuner. when i left this shop they said my car had a tampered with air box and it would never be right . unless i replaced it .

i got the car back it was terrible at 3500 rpm and up the car missed so bad it was all but undriveable . i called the shop , and my mechanic was unavalible, no one else would comment on my car , so , i knew it was not a real mechanical problem
but i could not fix the car , so f*&^ it i drove the car to see what it might do .
what it did was start beeping ....... 5 times beep 5 times ....... beep.......
no idiot lights nothing car is behaving and i have to shift at 3500. turns out the power steering controll unit is beeping .i can disconnect it and stop it but the PS goes away

so i found a old cat here in town to deal with my FC3S's fixed everything for 400 dollars ( but we cant figure out 5 beeps code for PS )and had a lot of time in the car an required no parts
but injector wiring and connector were bad after other shop crushed them , i still have the connector

SO THE POINT
i cant take that kind of risk on a 20,000 dollar car .
who will love my FD as much as i do ?
and fix it RIGHT!!!!
i want a nother FD and i need a shop / builder for my next FD

any ideas from experience
and THAKN YOU thank you
just reading the forum has been help in the last year

poke around in the southwest forum and see if they can give you any suggestions. what's the difference in drive for SOCAL vs. Houston? arond Houston there is Gotham Racing and Rotary Performance, both very reputable shops that will build your car how you want it, and give you advice on stuff that you wouldn't think about doing.
