new to FD's and rotary's

hey guys im currently in the market for a 3rd gen. i just love the body style. i found one for 4200 that has 13k mi on a new engine and 117k on an original auto transmission. my questions is this : is this a good deal and how much money/labor am i looking at for a manual swap? also, can anyone point me to where i can find an FD for 10k or under? preferably under haha.

All of your basic questions can be answered by reading the FAQ thread and using the search function, including the tranny swap.

There is no reason for an FD with good running motor to sell for so little, I would be EXTREMELY suspicious -- Katrina flood cars are everywhere.
