Loud and sounds good doesn't go together. I had a HKS Carbon TI that sounded great. Thats what I'd go for.

I know have a apexi GT spec which is god damn loud.

Apexi N1 duals sound like **** (imo)

I have a Ganador Ti (full titanium) exhaust coming in next week - $1199. This is only the second set in the US. I can also get you, virtually any exhaust you want from Japan.

The sound of your exhaust is directly correlated to how open it is. IE, if you are still running a stock midpipe, it wont be that loud. Now if you are running a straight midpipe, it is going to be tough for any exhaust NOT to be loud. A straight through midpipe and a very well muffled exhaust, perferabably oval sized and not a can should give you the sound your looking for. Here are the exhausts I have had over the years:
Apexi n1: 5/10, nothing special, sounded sub-par
Apexi n1 duals: 2/10, terrible sound and did not like how it looked
Apexi GT spec: 6/10, I thought this sounded pretty good, I have a stock midpipe, with a more open exhaust this would have been pretty loud. Does not look too bad.
HKS Carbon Ti: 7/10 Looks great, the carbon wrap looks good. It is important to remember that this exhaust is SS, only the tip is TI, when I shipped the exhaust I believe it weighed in at ~ 17lbs. Not too loud, did not sound as good as the GT spec IMO, but definitely looked better.
Amuse R1 Titanium: 8.5/10 LOVE this exhaust, have had it for about 1500 miles now. It is full titanium, weighed in at 6.1 lbs! Definitely on the loud size, but not raspy at all, very deep - sounds great (video on my car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUDge...e=channel_page). It has a very short muffler, and the tip is about the same size as the gt spec. IMO, I took off 1.5 just because I think it looks average, nice ti burnt tip though. Mine will be for sale soon.
ARC Ti exhaust: 10/10 The best exhaust, period. MSRP $3500, it is a piece of art, I wanted to hang it on my wall. Small tip, with purpleish ti burn, elongated muffler, just absolutely beautiful. Not too loud, but loud enough, sounded great. I had to sell it due to unfortunate circumstances, but I will source another one and it WILL be my last exhaust. Quick pic:

Got bored.. I regret the decision as it was the nicest sounding exhaust on the FD for me at least. The n1 duals sound like a nascar ..

St. May duals would be the most quiet from your list if you can get a hold of one

I think the PFS is less restrictive than an RB, correct me if im wrong.

Not to mention it is slightly louder and looks stock.

I have a PFS catback. I love it. Sometimes i do feel like my car is too loud but hey, your toy should make noise anyway

I have a full 4 inch turboback setup which terminates in an Apex'i GT Spec. I love the performance and sound of it, and as a bonus I run the Apexi ATS (active tailpipe silencer) which is basically spring loaded so at idle and cruise the car is relatively quiet but at WOT above ~4000 rpms the car wakes up and makes 95% of the noise and power that it makes without the silencer.

I ran a PFS for years and really loved it as well, but the 3 inch piping wasn't cutting it

Edit: A good friend runs 3 inch dp/magnaflow res mp/Apex'i N1 single and it sounds damn good IMHO.
