I have a couple questions regarding new engines. I tried searching, but I didn't come up with anything. Either that or I was searching for the wrong thing.

1) Whats a ballpark price for a street ported engine?
2) Any benefits of getting a J-spec? If so what is the price and where can you order one?

A streetported engine should run you about $2,500 to $4,500 depending on other mods done to the engine at the same time. You could check out rotorsportsracing.com and get an idea from them. I've heard good things about them though I prefer clean and fast out of Raleigh. Seeing as you're in Oregon though you have access to the Cali shops which is always a good thing.
