sorry to hijack the thread!!

The car looks mint!! Love the factory parts...
Out of curiousity, how much do the wheels weigh with rubber???
I've been contemplating going 17" for a long time... I still can't believe the stock rims weigh so little.....

i also have a set of these rims, and i like them very much (although they are still waiting in my basement for tires and a finished car to be mounted to
). i got them 2 years ago from jt-imports used (but in really good shape) for $900 shipped. they look really subtle, yet more agressive/ less dated than the 93+ wheels. you wont be turning any heads with these wheels, but they are a nice touch... and personally i prefer subtle to extravogant.one thing did cross my mind though the other day... how about buying another 2 8.5" wheels for the front... so i could run 255 all around. would i see any sort of gains keeping the fronts and rears matched??? too bad they dont make a deeper dished version of the rears... say a 9.5". then i would be set as id like to be running 285's in the rear for my extra rotor

, once I did that it was just a matter of deciding which brand to buy. As stated earlier in this thread, I went with the Yokohama EVS ES100's.Good luck.

Nice rims. Those are exactly like mine that I bought two weeks ago from ZRoc. I'll have to post a picture of them on my car. 93 VR with 5 spoke 99 spec. Its a subtle but very classy change.
