NEO vs. Mobil 1 gear oils... really quick

i called up a place that carries NEO oil and they quoted me $70 for a gallon of the gear oil and they will have it in stock in over a week. I can get the mobil one i need for about $40 and get it by tonight. Is it really worth the extra 30 dollars and the weeks waiting for the NEO. I know its better but is it really worth it. Please let me know what i should do so i can go pick up the gear oil tonight or put it on order at the other place ASAP. Thanks for your help.

I haven't tried either, but I would just get the Mobil1 and use the extra $30 on a tank of gas.

I have Redline in my gearbox and it feels great. Much better than whatever the previous owner had.

I use Neo, it feels good. Think it had Mobil 1 or Redline (I dont quite remember what the previous owner said anymore). There was no obvious differences for me.

I've had Redline when I bought my RX with 23K on it. At, 89K, I put in NEO and I felt a difference in smoothness. I have 104K on the Trans now and I race it often. No problems to date........I can say I like the NEO more than the Redline
