Need you help double check something.

Ok here's the deal .bought car. had aftermarket clutch and flywheel (<- just found out about flywheel.) car wouldn't start. heard starter spin but all i heard was metal noise and spinning. after replacing a starter and battery. i accidentaly notice when i manually jumped my starter under the car.. (which is when i noticed aftermarket flywheel.the teeth on flywheel which starter hooks to spins without my damn engine so my flywheels shot. also broken bolt on pressure plate... sweet aint it? i've seen that when you buy a lightened flywheel they sell with a counterweight.... if i go back to stock, i need the stock counterweight correct? also if i resurface flywheel, do i need to rebalance counterweight or am i ok? if anyone has a good one for sale please help me out i already gotta buy a clutch...

I didn't have a counter weight with my stock flywheel, so if you go stock I dont think you need one.

The stock manual flywheel does not need a counterweight.

The counter weight is cast in the OEM flywheel.

i appreciate the response guys. another question though. i got my tranny off and flywheel "looks" like a stock unit, and i can't see a counterweight behind it if it we're a lightweight aftermarket. question is... can anyone 1, post a good pix of stock flywheel, and 2, is thestock flywheel a 2 piece or a single full cast unit like most flywheels? by 2 piece i mean can you tell that the starter ring is seperate from rest of flywheel? thanks guys!!
