Need a stock 94 FD Cat or High Flow Cat!

Anybody out there have or know where I can get a stock 94 FD rear catylitic converter? Either a stock, used stock, or 3" High Flow (preferred) Cat. Any help is appreciated!

(It's inspection time and I just failed, imagine that?)

Buy the random technology highflow catalytic conveter, I bought that one for mine and I passed almost with flying colors ( with a working Air Pump of course) here is a link http://www.ultrarev.com/product.php?productid=41694
yeah it's expensive, but thats because it uses a metallic catalyst instead of ceramic and will last longer then buying a brand new cat from Mazda. Here's a picture of what it actually looks like

Make sure your Air pump is working properly, make sure car is tuned up, and you should be fine

Go with Bonez. It's pretty much the best one available for performance and longevity.

I have a Bonez hi-flow and I just failed emissions. It's done this before though. I was told that I should drive the car hard to get the cat extremely hot, keep it idling in line, and then I should pass. Which I did and it worked the last time or before that (2 or 4 years ago). Today though, no such luck........I might not have driven it as hard. I don't know.....

Now it's also under different circumstances though. The car was just pulled from "storage" (read neglect) for a year because I was just fed up with all its little problems. (Fix one thing, then something else goes....we all know this with this vehicle). It kept stalling and hesitating once it hit normal temps. Replacing the O2 and water temp sensors did the trick (both bad) and the car has been running beautifully (for the last 5 days) ........restoring my love of these FDs. Then today.....BAMMMMMM....failed emissions.....welcome back to life with an FD!

Could it be year old gas? (Down to near empty at time of test.) Bonez hi-flow breaking apart inside or hasn't gotten any fumes for over a year to really work? Use it or lose it. Or the Pettit ECU recalculating air/fuel ratios with the new sensors and its taking its time to learn?

We'll find out......I'm going to go through this new tank of gas and get that cat flowing and see what happens.....

But before today......I would have recommended Bonez.

Let me be more specific. I am selling my current FD and buying a new one with less miles. So, I really want to spend as little as I can on a Cat that will get this badboy to pass before I sell it. Either a low cost aftermarket or a used one would be great. Any suggestions there? Thanks.

I will add this to my list of "worst advice ever given". Metal cats don't last very long in rotary engines. An oem cat will outlast ANYTHING else!!!
