Need some porting advise
I'm currently starting a new build on my engine and have the opportunity to go with any port.. Im currently running a GT4088r turbo, I was wondering Street port or Half bridge port witch one makes better power?
I was running a half bridge port prior but I cant compare that engine because from day one it had low compression and other issues I rather not get into again.
Thank you for any help

Older discussion, but a lot of good information:

You have the choice of any port.
Semi peripheral port and manifolds have shown to make the best power on turbo rotaries in my eyes.
I stand in awe of dyno sheets like Ernie T's Semi p-port drag set up where he made over 500ft/lbs or torque from 5,000-10,000rpm or something crazy like that.
In Japan the hot set up for circuit is semi p-port and T04Z turbo. Stock UIM with custom LIMs linking 2ndary ports to P-port. Mid 500rwhp at moderate boost.
Drag racing would usually use a larger turbo than what you have, but since you want something for the streets too it should be great (assuming stop light and freeway performance is what you want on the street).
There are some custom semi p-port UIM/LIM and LIM to 4 barrel TB that are popular for drag racing.
