need some opinions about buying an rx7

I am currently looking at a 1993 auto rx7 with 33k miles, it has an intake and a greddy exhaust. My concern is that I have read how picky the rx7 is to upgrades without proper tuning. If I buy this car do you guys think that with these mods and the lack of tuning for them, increases my chance greatly of having major problems down the road? Please let me know your thoughts, thanks in advance.

Get a boost gauge. If you're running no more than 10 PSI, you're fine.

Generally speaking, you can run all of these basic bolt-ons (intake, downpipe, exhaust, IC) without issue provided you don't go over 10 PSI.

What kind of gains would you expect with these mods @ 10 psi?
