hey everybody i just bought a 94 fd and i know this car is fast but i wanna know the lowdown..it needed body work and i pick it up from the shop in about a week so it will be ready to go..what i wanna know is: will it beat cars like honda preludes, turbo charged eclipses, you know stuff like that.. i hate to sound stupid but the car needed so much body work i havent been able to "get on it" yet and dont truly know the speed of this car..if you guys can help me out that would be awesome...thanks

This post will probably be moved to the 3rd gen specific forum in a few mins... But, to answer your question, a stock FD that's running properly should be able to take tons of stock cars. Preludes, eclipses etc aren't too tough. Supras, 3000GT's, 300ZX's, LS1 F-Bodies, Vettes... Stuff in that class will be close races, the best competition.
