need some help please..

started my car last night and it seemed to be idling rough and a bit loud. i thought maybe my catback fell off again so i get underneath and look it was on, but it looked like i could see flames.. i saw orange inbetween my cat and catback anyone know what thats about???

also i think my oem oil pressure gauge went bad or something, my oil is fine i checked it, but when i drive, the pressure doesn't read that much, when i'm cruising, say 3rd or 4th, it sits at the line below 60, when i floor it or get on it hard, i will shoot up in between 60-80 for a second. anyone knows what that is about? is it just the gauge, or is there serious problems, other than that my car is running fine.

oh and my tach stopped working as well.. any advice on what to do with it?

i really appreciate it

Here is how to repair one form of tach problem. You can search this forum for others. http://www.umsl.edu/~tch9gd/Tach.pdf

The problem is most likely your oil pressure sending unit. btw, the spec is at least 50 PSI at 3000 RPM. (Sorry, I guess that doesn't help much w/o a tach.)

If you can see flames at your cat:
A) Your catback definitely is not connected very well
B) You have a bad tune/misfire/etc
