I am in the middle of installing a new fuel pump(DENSO OEM),and the serial number are diffeent.The old pump # is 195130-0782 and the new has 195130-1270 .Can anyone verify that its the same pump?I checked the http://www.densoaftermarket.com/cata...ZDA&model=RX-7
but its no help(dimensions etc are the same).

This isn't a concrete answer, but it looks like the model number 195310 is the same on both, and the 0782 or 1270 indicates a revision or manufacturing run. If the rest of the fuel pump looks functionally identical, I would be comfortable installing the new one.

Dave,thanks for the reply.I've installed the pump,and tested it.
I get:

At idle 30 psi = ok

Pressure with the F/P (fuel pump) and GND (ground) diagnosis terminals 36 Psi = ok

Maximum fuel pressure (71-107 psi) by plugging the fuel line on the engine side i get 50 psi = NOT OK?
