Need Some Advice
Hey guys, I just bought a 1994 RX-7 with 50,000 on the engine. Right now it is completly stock. But I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on some of the first mods I should do. I have about 4,000 saved up for mods..so any input would be great. Thanks

just because I like to go against everyone I will give you a straight answer:
Do the mods in this order.
1. Get a autometer pod if you like the gauges on the side of the driver frame. In there put a water temperature gauge and a boost gauge and hook both of them up so that they work! It's really important to monitor the water temperature if it gets near 200 degrees start to slow down and watch it carefully and if it goes higher and seems to be climbing pull over immediately and shut off the car there is something wrong. The boost gauge will tell you what boost you are getting at different rpms and at wide open throttle.
2. Downpipe replaces the first part of the exhaust the precat adds hp and helps rid the motor of backed up heat.
3. AST Air seperator tank replacement from Pettit
4. Upgraded Radiator
5. Intake
6. Power FC (after the last mod tune your car with a dyno to get a good air fuel ratio to get the most hp out of your mods)
7. Catback
8. Boost controller manual or electronic and port the wastegate
9. Fuel Pump
10. Intercooler
11. Midpipe
12. You can now turn the boost up to 13 psi safely without hurting your motor and without harming your turbos too much. If you are a good driver you will be deep into the 12s on slicks at the track.
Search for all of the independent mods that I mentioned since I didn't go into detail for each one.
I just listed performance stuff you may want to get other things....if you get good deals on all this stuff and get a manual boost controller and not the most expensive interocooler you should be just above 4k
