Need a smaller diameter steering wheel with an airbag!

Alright I has searched alot and just need any up to date info that anybody might have. I have owned my car for almost 2 years now and am just sick of my leg being sandwiched between my seat and steering wheel (damn racing seats). I was ready to get a sparco 330mm wheel, but was informed by my dad that it would void our insurance and that he wouldn't have it cause my mom would go nuts.

I had emailed jt-motorsports a while ago and they said that the 99 wheel is 350mm which is def. livable over the 380mm of my stock one. That is the only option I have so far that I know will work with our electronic airbag sensor stuff.

Did anyone figure out if the Miata wheel ever would work and what size it is. Any other info on other wheels would be great.

thanks in advance

Thanks mahjik I missed that thread, but it still never told if those wheels are infact smaller than our stock wheels and by exactly how much, as in actually measuring it. But it is good to learn if they are small enough I can just get an '01 miata wheel.
