need quick help, ? on dp install

i am right in the middle of a dp install and have a question, where the dp bolts up to the cat there is a hanger that connects to the transmission. will i reuse that hanger on the new dp or should i take off the bracket, thanks
as for the rest of the install, it is going ok. two studs came out on the top two but the bottom two only the nuts came off, so i will see how that works out, and also i broke a hose, not the blow off valve but the other one that looks like it, the sort 90 degree piece that connects it to the turbo or whatever was nice and hard and brittle and when i tried to pull it off it snapped righ tin half. i hope i can find one tomrrow morning, thanks for any responses, scott

ARe talking about the hanger thats held on by a bolt or something like that? If so I think the only DP that uses that is the HKS DP. At least I didn't use it on my pettit DP. I sure hope I wasn't suppose to.

yea i decided to leave it out, but it is reasuring seeing someone else did as well, now the only problem is getting the top bolts in. it seems like teh dp wont go flat against the turbo manifold, like something is blocking it, so i cant get it close enough to get the bolts lined up or started, but its 2;30 in the morning here so i am probably jsut doing something stupid since it is soo late, i will try again in teh morning, any one else who has had this problem any adive will be greatly appreciated, thanks, scott

Aww man.. Tsumi and I are doing my DP in the morning, bro. You have run into a similar problem we had when we did his DP a couple weeks ago... check to see of the stud threads are grabbing the holes in the flang. We had to chamfer the holes on Tsumi's DP to get it to go in properly.

well i got it finished just a bit ago and it is sweet, like everyone else i love teh sound sof the turbos its soundsAWESOME. the perfromance gains were there but not as readily apparant as i thought it would be from what others said. to get it on i had to grind the flange down a little to get it to mount flush. but it all went smoothly giving all that coulda gone wrong. so i am as ahappy as a jay bird now, thanks for the help, and good luck kibagamir2, scott
