need quick help

I decided to install my turbo timer(with harness) tonight and like a dumbass I just started the car and pulled it into the garage and ran it for like 45 sec. I installed the turbo timer and it cranked but would not start. I think i flooded it. I took the fuel pump fuse out and cranked it over for 30 sec two times, threw the fuse back in and still wouldnt start. I finally got frustrated and took the turbo timer off and still doesnt start. I have a new battery, but when i crank the car over it only shows 8.9v. I have the battery on a trickle charger for the night and im going to crank it over tomorrow. Im going to let it sit tonight so some of the fuel will hopefully dry out. I guess i jsut flooded it? Should i keep trying with the fuse or try to pop start it?

push start it becasue if the battery dousnt charge, it wont crank enough RPM's to get it starting.

but pull the bottom(leading) spark plugs and pull the EGI fuse out and crank, if should unflood it.
