need pic of fiberglass nose reinforcement bumper with foam

still attemping to finish replacing items missing from my unfortunate brush with Elite-delete Rotary Shop.

i recently realised my front fiberglass nose reinforcement was missing so bought one from Fritz. it has only the center nose reinforcement foam on it. i finally found the two outer pieces. they don't seem to quite line up w the center piece so i really need a picture. proper position is critical so i searched and came up empty as to a picture. the manual has an exploded view which isn't of much help.

i would greatly appreciate it if someone could post a picture of the foam pieces in place.

Thanks

Not my picture, found it on the forum. There's just the one little foam piece on the top. The rear bumper has more substantial foam pieces.

I can't help you with pictures, but I'm trying to tackle the same problem myself and had an idea on how to fabricate equivalent foam pieces in place.

My problem is the opposite of yours; I have the center foam piece but am missing the corner pieces. I was thinking that an expanding foam insulation product (e.g., Great Stuff) that is sold in any hardware store might work to fabricate an equivalent part. Since this stuff sticks to everything and expands in every direction, you would need to use something like a plastic bag as a form to contain the expansion so it doesn't make a mess. My thought was that you would first assemble whole bumper, placing plastic bag "forms" inside the voids that used to be filled by the OEM foam pieces. Ideally, your plastic bag form should be able to fill the void fully once it's filled with the expanding foam, and it should have some kind of leak free hose attached to it so you can apply the foam to an otherwise inaccessible cavity. A plastic grocery bag, some cheap vinyl tubing, and some duct tape to get a leak free tubing connection to the bag form should work. Then shoot the expanding foam in and let it do its thing, being careful not to over-fill the void. Let it cure, then you can take the bumper skin off, trim off the tube/form and any excess off your new foam piece if it expanded into places it wasn't supposed to.

If you're brave enough to try this before I have a chance to do so, please let us know how it works!

Sorry about the photobucket stamp but appears those corner pieces attach to the bumper somehow?

^OK, I'm remembering things now.

There's the long piece that's stuck to the fiberglass bumper bar. The two little triangle pieces are stuck to the inside of the bumper itself, they end up on either side of the longer piece on the bumper bar. Not sure why they did it that way but there you go.

It's just there to fill in between the top of the bumper skin and the fiberglass bar. Helps the bumper keep its shape.

here's a picture from the manual. the arrows point to all the missing pieces that i have had to source. after carefully examining my nose it is clear the 3 foam pieces are important as to support because my nose has a couple of modest depressions in it due to lack of the fiberglass bumper and the foam. i was able to find the two foam end pieces but they don't seem to fit on the fiberglass bumper and also seem a bit high where the meet the center foam. Dale's thought about them being, perhaps, under the bumper is a maybe but the picture seems to place them on the top near the center foam..

i am pretty sure someone out there has the answer on this and of course thank all who have responded.

As far as I know, these foam pieces are in their original position.

pics of all original 94 rebar & bumper
Long foam attached to rebar
Short end pieces attached to bumper
Long foam = 26 3/4"
Short foam placement = 23 1/2 " apart , leaving 1 5/8" gap between pieces
