Are you going to paint a different color? Or same red? If different, coloring the door jams and everything cost alot more, while if you stay with red, it will be much cheaper. It really depends.

Hey I'm from Washington also ! I too would like to know about a local shop around here that has some FD experience...or just a 'good' shop. Maybe we can get a group rate if we get our cars painted near the same time!?

Laters!

If you do the prep work (trim removal), have little body work needing to be done, and staying with the same color you can get a good paint job for 3500-5000.

Paint jobs go from cheapest 2700 (with a good discount from a friend)

so something like 6K

I would never go to a paint shop unless I've seen some good work, and I would always pay for the best job they offer, don't go cheap on paint. If you're not paying more than 3K for a paint job than you're definently not gonna be happy in the long run.

Got mine painted over the winter. Paint job alone was $4900. This doesnt include things like new rubber for hatch, windshield and sun roof. I also removed door panels, trim, mirrors, front and rear bumbers, etc..........If you dont remove these things then paint and primer will bridge the seems, which is not good.

mine is in the shop right now...I removed the spoiler, mirrors, door molding, trunk interior, and sunroof cover...I'm also going with the original color (red) and NOT getting door jambs or engine painted....I was quoted $3200 - $4000...prob. closer to 4k...

Same here, no door jams or engine bay, and I got quoted $3500-4000 for the full car, victory red, with my side skirts and a new wing and painted lip.
