need little help here.....

hey guys, heres my question: i am thinking about getting the 3rd generation twin turbos rx-7, and i did some search on how long does the rotary enigne last. I found out that it normaly last from 70,000 to 100,000 mileage. do you guys think is it worth it to buy twin turbos rx-7 that has 75,000 mileage from the dealer shop with the pric $15,000? if i buy it, would i have to replace or rebuild the enigne pretty soon? thank

Here you go:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

You must read all of the "Stickies" At the top of the page before you start asking these questions unless you're wearing a FLame Suit lol.
These are pretty common questions and ALL of them will be answered will a little reading and research with the Search Function.
Good Luck with your purchase and No that Motor will not last as long as you would hope.

original and stock, 15k is a little high.

As someone else already said, there's plenty of stuff here to read.

Also, if you are in Fresno, you will need a car with some mods to keep it cool.

A bigger radiator, and ducting would probably be minimal.

I've lived in Fresno - 115 degrees is kind of tough on a turbo RX-7.

You may or may not have to replace the engine soon. Depends on its condition. But you would have to keep in mind that it would need a rebuild in the future. There is a lot of stuff to research before buying the car. I would also recommend reading nearly all of the FAQ section and its links.

$15,000 is a little bit above normal price.

Well, i personally dont trust dealerships, but i think that if the engine, turbos and tranny are in execellent condition, 15 k is not much to ask because you could spend much more than 5 k fixing that stuff if you bought it as a fixer upper for 9 or 10k. You do however have to find this out.
