Need A Little Help, First RX-7
Hi i recently purchased a 1993 mazda rx-7 touring, the car has been switched to non sequential, and has a microtech LT-8 unit, Bitz SMIC, Bilstien Shocks, ARC Induction Box, Greddy SP Exhaust, Greddy Type S BOV, Greddy Timer, and Greddy EBC. i am new to rx-7's but have made/owned a 240sx and a integra gsr, i need help identifing a connector and need a solution to one problem.
Here is my car:

This is the connector i need identified:

And my problem is i cannont find the other end of this connector:

(this is on the a/c compressor, up here where i live it gets pretty hot, and with a black interior, as you know sucks), can anyone refer me to a harness diagram, i do have the FSM that i found on this site, but still cannont find the harness for that connector, thanks in advance!

1. Mandatory here in BC, Canada
2. It's 40-50F up here
3. The engine has about 3,000 miles on it
4. Under Warrenty until 7,000 miles on it
it will be fine where the plate is, like i said thank you, but my main concern is the connectors
If it's only 40-50F, then you don't need the AC
The stock radiator needs as much well-ducted air as possible. I recommend you consider a different front plate mounting.
I believe the first connector goes to the OMP. Were you instructed to premix oil in your gasoline by the previous owner? Until you get that OMP working for certain, you probably should.
I don't recall about the second one, but if it's not part of the emissions engine wiring harness that runs under the UIM, it's gotta be the 'other' engine harness. You can find the wiring diagrams in the stickied thread at the top of this forum. 93s-95s are basically the same, but be sure to confirm the part number when you order it. Look out for a used one from a parted car, or buy a piece of an old harness and splice it in yourself.

OMP eh, okay, i do premix, thanks Dave, is it possible for anyone to follow or post a pic, of thier a/c compressor, and maybe show where there connector hooks up?, i would be soooooo greatfull!
You say that one of those connectors is on the A/C compressor.... I don't know where you took the pic but are you sure about that? The A/C compressor is buried under the P/S pump. The label on your pic "NEVER REMOVE" makes me think that's your airpump, but I'm nowhere near my car to check.
Also, you have a separate filter and a long hose feeding your airpump, when it looks like there's a convenient nipple right on the airbox to use. You could clean up that area a little bit.

I know it's irrelevant to your question, but if you are looking for a front plate mount just pick up a factory one from mazda. I bought one for $45 that I carry around in my car still in the packaging, so if I get pulled over I can tell the cop that I just got it and haven't got it on yet. I refuse to put a plate on the front
There are two connectors in that area, one is tan in color and goes to the air pump, the other connector is light blue and goes to the EGR valve on the side of the LIM. Depending on the ECU the 93 model EGR doesn't need it, and the 95 doen't have an EGR at all so it's only needed on California ECU's and Federal 94 ECU's as for Canadian models I have no idea if it's used.
okay, yeah it is the air pump, im a noob
haha, so i don't need that. good, i guess my only problem then is when i hit the a/c switch my a/c dosent work, the light goes on tho when i hit the switch, where is the a/c compressor located?
