need a little help

Hi Iv been reading this forum for over a year now and man !! do i LOVE it. not only Cause FD are the BEST car ever made but because i find my self looking up to Ever One on this site. like that 10 page forum with ever one arguing about whats better a 3K/Stelth or a FD. that was great!!.but i have some what of a prob. im SOOOOOO in love with FD since day one i saw one i seriously went crazy bout it. well im only 15 and im about to get my car between now and 6 months and NO DOUT i want a FD !! but the thing is that im goingt o be driving to Palmdale ever other week end going to LA or Orange County the week end after that, ALOT.i Live in SD ( really a town called Escondido but south of that )well if you know about RX7 then you know about the engin problem. and i geuss im just askin if its SMART to do what i want to do. and also whats the best way to make a Wankle engine last longer? it would mean alot to me if you would give me some INFO. Thanxs

smartest thing to do is find an fd on it's 2nd/3rd or whatever engine it's on with low miles...check for compression as it should make about 7~8kg/cm^2 evenly on all 3 chambers. If you are set on an FD that is... after you get it, change oil/plugs/oil filter like a fiend, monitor water temp, fuel ratio and don't beat the crap out of the motor and drive it with TLC....and this is coming from an FD owner with a whopping 1 month worth of ownership under the belt
