need to know what I can and cannot block off.
need to know what I can and cannot block off.
searched very much and no luck. basically I am getting my motor back together after a bunch of months and would love some advice.
the low down: the car will not be a daily driver so I want to get rid of as much as is sane. going to be single-turbo now so that might free some things up? My replacement UIM (old one cracked) came with nothing on it, so I figured getting the block off plates for whatever I can is what I should do. the LIM has everything, but I would like to get rid of what I can there too.
what I need: I was hoping to find a writeup or something on all the available block-off plate options. I don't know what most of it does (esp. since UIM has nothing on it) and need instruction. is the EGR on the LIM? thought I saw that somewhere. I know the ACV is the big one on the LIM. other than that, I'm blind.
any help is much appreciated. this has been the biggest project of my life, (like a restoration really) so please bare with me. I'm sure I will have a ton of questions once I get the bodywork done and begin installing the motor. thanks!
