Hiya,

A bunch of guys had a dyno session up in Norcal, and I was told that most of them had those type of mods and they put down on average 280-300 RWHP on 91 octane.

IMO you should do a DP before the IC. With an ECU you dont really have to worry about leaning out when you spike. The ECU takes care of that by adding fuel at higher boost.

HP will vary depending on how much boost you run. With a downpipe at around 12 psi, Ludeowner is in the right area.

Adam c is right, your HP will also vary with the amount of boost you run. I'd guesstimate 260ish RWHP for 10 PSI and 300ish RWHP for 12 PSI.

Also what I had said earlier could be misinterpreted. An ECU could keep you safe from minor spiking, as long as that ECU has fuel maps for the maximum PSI you experience spikes/creep. If you spike to say 15-16 PSI, and your fuel maps only go up as high as 13-14 PSI, then you risk fragging your motor.

I would say get a good manual boost controller (MBC) like a Hallamn or an Electronic Boost Controller (EBC) like Greddy. These can allow you to control boost a little bit. Also you should consider porting your WG to also help control boost.

I'd say 260-270 is about right, if you're running at or near 10-11 psi boost. I have similar mods (except I have the efini Y pipe) and pulled 264 before tuning, 280 after.

I also would add the DP before the IC. I run a Racing Beat IC brace on my stock IC so I can add boost over 12 psi. The DP will make the most of your existing exhaust mods (assuming your Random cat is in a good-size pipe), for much cheaper than an IC.

Have Fun,
T

What about with a midpipe tuned in, and the same mods listed above + downpipe?

Back when I had those similar mods and when I had a midpipe I was at 296 rwhp 265 tor at 11.5 psi.
Tuning the fuel for the boost is the key for getting more hp out of your mods and its specific for every car.
