Need help with window switch

Turns out my window switch is working but its only going down and not up. Ive got the door panel off and the switch out and am thinking of ways to fix it. If anyone has ever successfully fixed it or has one for sale cheaper than Mazda does can you please let me know? Thanks

mines doing that as well among other things. Havent figured it out though I think replace the switch. If you put direct power from the batt. it will go up for now til we figure it out. I think w/ a tester and the switch . looking @ the back of its circuitry and testing the opening and closing of the up/down circuit???? When you press the switch depending on which circuit you have the multi meter it should give you a reading when closed( letting electricity pass).... Im still trying to get mine from bucking and hesitation before I can get to this one. good luck, and let us know what u come up with.

The contacts on the switches are known for getting dirty and not working. Try taking it apart and cleaning the contacts and see if that works.

Thanks for the help guys. I did take apart the switch though and was able to stick something in there to turn up the window with it plugged in so I wouldn't have to worry about it being down all the time. You have to hit the little spring for whichever direction you want it to go. So the electronics on it and all are good and the switch goes down when put back together but compared to the passenger side switch its really soft when you try to make the window go up so something isnt catching. I talked to Cam down at Pettit and he said sometimes you can epoxy the switch to the spring to make it catch again but most people who have done that say it only works for a little while and the best method is just to replace it. What trouble are you having though. Does the switch still feel the same and just the electronics arent working?

Yeah I do. Its defenitely the switch cause of how soft it is compared to the passenger switch when you pull it up and since I took it apart and looked at it. I left a more thorough post below.
